If you enjoy sweets, you’ve probably had M&Ms. The multicoloured candies are absolutely addicting and come in a wide variety of flavours. You must be wondering why we are suddenly talking about candies. So, a man claimed to have discovered the largest M&M in the world on Twitter. That really did happen. A post he made about it on social media got the attention of Guinness World Records (GWR), who also shared it.
On Twitter, a person by the name of Fintan Walsh shared the article. It showed an image of Walsh’s palm holding a normal-sized, green M&M and a massive blue M&M.
“Hello @GWR. The largest M&M in the world is mine. What will be our next move?” He wrote in the post’s caption.
Hi @GWR I have the biggest M&M in the world. What’s the next step for us. pic.twitter.com/IxczjqX4PJ

The post clearly attracted notice online, and Guinness World Records was quick to respond.
Guinness World Records jokingly said, “That’s not an M&M; that’s a boulder.”

In 1941, the tiny, button-shaped M&M candies were made. On one side of each sweet, the lowercase “m” is printed in white.
