In the first shot for the new western action movie Place of Bones on Netflix, Heather Graham travels to the American West. The film, which recently wrapped up production in New Angeles, was directed by Audrey Cummings, who also oversaw two episodes of the platform’s popular comedy-drama Ginny and Georgia. Tom Hopper, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, and Coric Nemec will also be featured in the cast. Under Goldrush Entertainment and Latigo Pictures, the movie was produced by Eric Gozlan, David Lipper, and Robert A. Daly Jr. (Daly Jr.). Place of Bones doesn’t yet have a set release date, but the fact that filming is finished suggests that it will happen this year.
After a botched bank heist in the Wild West of 1876, vicious outlaw gang leader Bear John (Hopper) hunts down his traitorous partner Calhoun with a ferocious zeal in order to retrieve the stolen money. Calhoun, who is almost dead, drags himself to a secluded property where Pandora (Graham) and her kid reside. Pandora is forced to defend her daughter as Bear and his band of outlaws show there with the intention of exacting horrific retribution. But Bear John and his men will soon realise that Pandora is more than capable of taking them all out in order to keep what is rightfully hers because this is not her first rodeo.
Ginny and Georgia, a Netflix original series about a family who relocates to the imaginary town of Wellsbury in search of a fresh start after the father dies, had two episodes directed by Cummings. The fact that the studio trusted the director with the production of Place of Bones indicates that they were pleased with her work on the show. Although Ginny and Georgia has featured slow-burning romances and mysteries over the course of its run, it is unknown if Netflix will pick up the show for a third season.
The Last Son by Tim Sutton is where Graham was last seen. In the film, which is set in the late 19th century, Isaac LeMay (Sam Worthington) is cursed with an awful prophecy, forcing him to kill his kid first before he may kill himself. The woman portrays the boy’s mother, Anna. Despite the film’s unfavorable reviews, it was made very obvious that Graham would not be unfamiliar with portraying a girl who finds herself in peril in the Wild West.
