Shahnawaz Dahani likely to miss PSL amid injury

  • Shahnawaz Dahani is likely to miss the Pakistan Super League due to a fractured finger.

Multan Sultans pacer Shahnawaz Dahani is likely to miss the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL), due to a fractured finger.

During yesterday’s match against the Lahore Qalandars, Dahani was hit on the finger by a shot by Sikandar Raza.

According to sources, the Sultans may replace the pacer with West Indies all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite. Carlos  is in the UAE, awaiting a Pakistani visa.

Dahani has 55 wickets in 41 T20 matches in his career and is regarded as an important member of the Sultans’ bowling attack.

The Sultans’ next PSL match is against the Quetta Gladiators on Wednesday, February 15, in Multan.
