According to a report, these remarks enraged Prince William.
According to the report, which quotes a source, “At the time, William was close to launching legal action. Harry and Meghan basically made the world question who the so-called royal racist is, which has been very damaging. But the Queen talked him out of it.”
The report goes on to say that since Queen Elizabeth passed away last year, there is no longer anyone who can stop William, which may force the royal brothers to square off in court.
The insider told the publication that the Prince of Wales “will be watching with keen interest” as Meghan and Harry might be questioned as part of a US defamation case brought by Meghan’s half-sister.
