The Multan Cricket Stadium hosted the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) opening ceremony on Monday night, illuminating the city of saints.

Aima Baig’s heartfelt performance of the National Anthem opened the celebration, which was seen by spectators in the stadium and on televisions around the nation.

HBL CEO Muhammad Aurangzeb then joined her on stage and thanked the ecstatic crowd for their love and support.

Najam Sethi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), then entered the room and declared that the tournament’s games will also be played in Quetta and Peshawar the next year.
