Queen Elizabeth‘s stylist said that the late monarch was horrified by a clothes blunder at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding.
It was reported that the Queen discovered a hole in one of her white gloves while waving to the throng.
According to the article, the king was “furious” about the accident and made sure it didn’t happen again by carrying an extra pair of gloves.
Bernard Connolly tells that the monarch was mortified by what happened.
He stated that the incident was not reported at the time.
Connolly said, “The Queen went out and waved to the world with a hole in her glove – can you imagine?.
He said, “You don’t do that, you wouldn’t do it in a fashion show, or in a photo shoot, and you certainly wouldn’t do it to a monarch.”
The “future King getting married,” according to the Queen’s longtime stylist, was not “just any engagement.”
Queen Elizabeth died in September of last year at the age of 95.
After her death, her son Charles ascended to the throne.
