- Ben Cutting and Erin Holland visit Pakistan for the country’s people and PSL.
- Cutting will represent Kings after previously playing for Zalmi and Gladiators.
- Hollad will make a comeback to the PSL as a presenter.
Ben Cutting, an Australian cricketer, claimed that his wife Erin Holland and he visit Pakistan for the country’s people.
On Friday, Cutting told the reporters that they adore Pakistan and its people while speaking on the sidelines of the Karachi Kings’ training camp.
The Australian player said, “Obviously, the love of Pakistani people pull us here all the time,”
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has included the all-around cricketer for the past five seasons. In this year’s PSL, Cutting will represent Kings after previously playing for Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators.
Conversely, Hollad will make a comeback to the PSL as a presenter. She will serve as a presenter with renowned Pakistani broadcaster Zainab Abbas on the PSL 8 commentary team.
In PSL 8, Cutting anticipates a fresh challenge. “Yes, it’s a new franchise and obviously another challenge. I am really looking forward to it,” he said.
“PSL has always been tough in terms of standard. Local bowlers dominate here and it really makes this league apart from others around the world,” he highlighted.
The Australian player claimed that the absence of Babar Azam, the best batter in the world, will be felt by his team.
In exchange for Babar, Kings acquired Zalmi’s seasoned cricketer Shoaib Malik. On February 14 in Karachi, the two teams will face off in the PSL 8 opener.
