Abhishek Pathak and Shivaleeka Oberoi wed on Thursday. The nuptials took place in Goa. The actor and director shared their wedding album on Instagram on Friday. The post included a candid photo of the groom caressing the bride’s cheek during the ceremony. Abhishek donned a cream sherwani for the wedding, while Shivaleeka wore a red lehenga with elaborate bridal jewelry.
Abhishek is seen kissing Shivaleeka on the cheek in the first wedding picture as she blushes. The bride and groom may be seen in the second image standing in front of a tree that has white flower garlands and chandeliers hanging from it. While collaborating on the Abhishek-directed movie Khuda Haafiz (2020), Shivaleeka and Abhishek became friends. It hasn’t been long since we started dating, but when something feels right, it’s right, Shivaleeka had stated when discussing their romance in an interview with Times of India last year. For Drishyam 2, Abhishek had already begun filming. Despite all of the limitations during the past two years, we managed to find time for one another. Our friends could tell that we were compatible with one another. Nowadays, there are a lot of married actresses, and their careers are thriving. Relationships and work can coexist peacefully in life. This is something that Abhishek and I have also discussed. We both agree that our professional lives will not change because we’re planning to get married soon.”
Drishyam 2, which featured Ajay Devgn last year, was directed by Abhishek. The Hindi version of the identically titled Malayalam film starring Mohanlal was a commercial success. Shivaleeka and Vidyut Jammwal last appeared together in Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 – Agni Pariksha (2022).
