Last month, young Malti Marie Chopra Jonas made her debut in front of the public with her parents, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. The one-year-old sat on Priyanka’s lap as her father and uncles Kevin and Joe Jonas accepted their star during the Jonas Brothers’ Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on January 30 in Los Angeles. Malti can be seen playing with her cousins Alena and Valentina, who are the daughters of Nick’s older brother Kevin and his wife Danielle Jonas, in an unreleased video from the occasion that has recently appeared online.
Malti Marie Chopra Jonas appeared in a candid video posted on a fan page on Instagram on Friday wearing a beige and white gown with a sweet white bow. Malti was spotted cuddling up on a baby mat on the floor with her cousins and the daughter of one of Priyanka’s friends, who were all smitten with Malti’s sweetness. In the brief clip, they could be seen grinning as Malti played with a toy. Malti’s face was hidden in the video because she had her back to the camera.

On the video, viewers posted lovely comments. The Jonas sisters were one such entry. Another person commented that Malti Marie, the baby, was “nearly going to walk any moment now.” Also written by a fan was “Missing Sophie’s girls.” Joe Jonas, the brother of Nick Jonas, and his wife, actress Sophie Turner, have two daughters. Willa, their first daughter, was born in 2020, and her younger sister was born in 2022. The daughters of Sophie and Joe were not present at the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony last month.
Since Malti was born in January 2022, Priyanka and Nick have shared images of their daughter frequently. However, most of the time, Malti is either facing away from the camera or has an emoji over her face. Her public début in support of her father was all the more noteworthy because of that. Even during his address at the Hollywood Walk of Fame celebration, Nick made mention to his daughter. “You are the rock in the storm and the calm in the crazy, my lovely wife, and I adore being married to you. The best present is that. Malti Marie, I’m so happy to have you as a child. Hello, little one! In 15 years, I can’t wait to accompany you here and humiliate you in front of your friends.”
