LAHORE: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped in Ghaziabad area of Lahore, Bol News reported.
The parents of the victim met Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Investigation Dr Anoosh Masood Chaudhry after reporting the incident.
The police officer assured of providing all the possible legal and moral support and guidance to the victim and her parents.
She said that the culprits will be brought to justice with the help of the prosecution. The girl and her father appealed for justice.
In another incident, two men allegedly gang-raped a 15-year-old girl at gunpoint in front of her mother in a locality of Khanqah Sharif near Bhawalput.
According to reports, the rape case was registered against a suspect and his accomplice on the complaint of the girl’s mother.
The complainant said she lived in her house with her children as her husband had gone to Lahore for work.
She said that on Saturday night, the suspect, along with his unidentified accomplice, barged in her house, subjected her to torture and gang-raped her daughter at gunpoint.
The suspects fled away after committing the crime before neighbours arrived there after hearing the cries of the mother and the daughter. However, no one has been arrested so far.
