Before the release of Money Heist Season 5, Part 2, Netflix announced the spin-off, saying, “We previously met Berlin in #LaCasaDePapeland now is the time for Andrés de Fonollosa. We can already say that the spin-off of his life will come in 2023.
Alex Pina, who created the original series, is back on board to pen this spinoff. The forthcoming spinoff was discussed by Pina and Berlin actor Pedro Alonso at Netflix’s 2022 Tudum event, with Pina stating, “This is going to be a trip across the golden years of the character.
