PAF trainer aircraft makes emergency landing in Mardan

  • Both pilots of the plane were safe in the accident.
  • However, the plane was partially damaged.
  • Rescue 1122 provides first aid to the pilots.

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) trainer aircraft crashed near the Takht Bhai area of Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday.

The spokesperson of Pakistan Air Force said that a trainer aircraft has met with an accident in Takht Bhai.

The spokesman said that the plane made an emergency landing in the fields near Mardan, but both the pilots of the plane were safe in the accident

On the other hand, the rescue officials said that the trainer plane crashed in the area of ​​Takht Bhai, while the two pilots in the plane were miraculously safe, however, the plane was partially damaged.

Officials said that on receiving the information, Rescue 1122 ambulance, medical team, and fire vehicle reached the spot and first aid was provided to the pilots on the spot.

According to officials, 1122 rescue personnel are engaged in rescue operations.

Earlier, on the directives of Government of Pakistan, second C-130 aircraft of Pakistan Air Force carrying  tents, blankets and essential items from PAF Base, Lahore has reached Turkiye.

The C-130 Hercules aircraft is carrying 18634 pounds of humanitarian assistance relief goods from people of Pakistan for the earthquake affected brethren of Turkiye.

Pakistan Air Force is also making all out efforts to repatriate stranded Pakistani students in coordination with Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Pakistan Embassy in Turkiye.
