- After being readmitted to the hospital on an emergency.
- Basis one year after the traumatic birth of her baby.
- Former Made in Chelsea star Louise Thompson recently expounded on “surviving the second time.”
Louise Thompson, who is also a mother of one kid, wrote on Instagram that she was “very well” until suffering a haemorrhage and ultimately losing over three litres of blood as a result.
The interesting thing about making it through the second time is that you realize you are not just lucky, Louise noted in a letter about her health concern. You are aware of what the human body is capable of. You are aware of your strength.
After having her kid with her boyfriend Ryan 14 months ago, Louise reportedly spent a month in intensive care. Her near-death childbirth experience led to post-traumatic stress disorder and post-natal anxiety, both of which she experienced. She said, “You understand what modern medicine is capable of and what you can withstand,” in the caption. Wow, you have a lot of endurance.
I am trying to reframe it as comforting, Louise continued. The fact that I have unexpectedly entered and exited the hospital multiple times while surviving gives me comfort. “I never anticipated that happening to me, but it happened. I never anticipated it happening again after that. But in a way, it did. I suppose that nothing in life is certain. NOTHING.”
“However, the upside is that I can gain knowledge from it. I have come to realize that I do not want to continue living in terror… I have worked extremely hard, and I am not going to go back and undo anything. I currently have excellent systems and support in place. Louise said, “Sooo… Please let me get back to my normal routine as soon as possible. With a side of perspective.
In the end, she added, “Ps. This last week I’ve managed to distract any ruminating/analyzing/damn awful, circulating, obsessive thoughts with the thought of lying there wishing I had more time with my boy which then makes me shift gear and feel v v VVV present and forces me to really soak up the good stuff.” “A little blessing… or just another mind game,” she concluded.
