Iftikhar Ahmed left for Bangladesh, where he will play for Fortune Barishal in the Bangladesh Premier League in 2023.

For the Quetta Gladiators in the exhibition game against Peshawar Zalmi on Sunday at the Bugti Stadium in Quetta, Iftikhar, formerly known as Ifti Mania, excelled.

In the exhibition game’s final over of the inning, Iftikhar hit Wahab for six sixes. In 50 balls, the right-hander scored an unbeaten 94 runs.

The batter expressed his hope to keep Barishal’s momentum going on Twitter before leaving Dubai.

He also expressed gratitude to the Quettans for their “love and respect.”

It should be noted that, during the exhibition match, Iftikhar Ahmed’s outstanding batting performance and the bowlers’ excellent bowling helped the home team defeat Peshawar Zalmi by three runs.

The Gladiators, who were given first at bat, scored a respectable 184 runs before holding the Yellow Storm to 181 runs. On February 13, Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars will square off in the opening match of the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which will begin in Multan with an opening ceremony.

Iftikhar, however, left after the exhibition game to participate in the BPL and went back to Pakistan for the game. Ifitikhar’s Fortune Barishal will fight with Comilla Victorians at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium on Tuesday.
