Harry Styles star won album of the year for Harry’s House at the 2023 Grammy Awards on Sunday. When Trevor Noah and a group of fans presented him with the prize, he said, “This does not happen to people like me very frequently.” “Thank you, this is really nice.”

Styles also took the time to say that he does not go into the studio wondering if he will win accolades and added that “there is no such thing as best” before handing the microphone over to the producers of his third studio album.

ABBA’s Voyage, Adele’s 30th, Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti, Beyoncé’s Renaissance, Mary J. Blige’s Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe), Brandi Carlile’s In These Silent Days, Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres, Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, and Lizzo’s Special were other contenders in the category.

Styles was nominated for six awards at the gala this year. Harry’s House was nominated for best pop vocal album, which he ultimately won, as well as record and song of the year, best pop solo performance, and best music video for “As It Was.”
