Kanye West has finally received notice that Greenberg Traurig, LLP is no longer representing him in legal matters. The rapper’s lawyer reportedly told AllHipHop that the papers for the breakup was delivered to him on February 1. “On January 18, 2023, an attorney based in California contacted my firm advising that he would be representing ‘Ye on some of his legal matters,'” Greenberg Traurig attorney Nina D. Boyajian wrote.
“During the course of several emails and a phone call with this attorney, I requested that he coordinate personal service of the Order on Ye. The signed Certificate of Service is submitted hereto as Exhibit A and was emailed to me by the lawyer previously mentioned on February 1, 2023. I certify that the information above is accurate and true under penalty of perjury as defined by American law.
Meanwhile, West’s former attorneys were compelled to buy newspaper advertising to announce their decision to remove West due to his continual evasion of them.
The federal court told them to try a little bit longer and harder since he was unimpressed by the unusual step. According to Reuters, Judge Analisa Torres denied the lawyers from Greenberg Traurig’s plea to formally sever all relations with West at this time. Ye previously hired the company for his legal fight with Ultra International Music.
