Apple will reportedly begin mass production of a new “HomePod mini 2” in the second half of next year.
On Friday, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo published the information on the microblogging network Twitter.
“Goertek has secured an NPI and assembly orders for HomePod mini 2, which will start mass shipments in 2H24,” Kuo tweeted.
He also stated that Apple will most likely begin mass production of the “AirPods Max 2” and “AirPods low-cost version” in the second half of next year or the first part of 2025.
Last month, Kuo said that Apple would begin mass production of the next-generation AirPods, which might cost $99, and the new AirPods Max in the second half of next year or the early half of 2025.
Meanwhile, it was rumoured that Apple was working on an “Airpods Lite” version to compete with lower-cost wireless earbuds.
