According to TMZ.com, the 26-year-old athlete and the 34-year-old “High School Musical” actress reportedly decided to get married late last year after taking a romantic trip to Paris, France, which would have been the ideal place for a proposal.
The pair hasn’t responded to the report yet. Since 2020, they have been together, and the actress frequently is spotted cheering him on during his MBL matches.
Cole recently signed a contract with the Colorado Rockies after previously playing for the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The news of the engagement was announced just a few days after Vanessa raved on Instagram about her boyfriend. She wrote about her love for him and uploaded a photo of the couple dancing at what appeared to be a wedding.
In the caption, she added: “I’ll stop the world and melt with you … @cotuck.”
In an interview back in 2021, Vanessa revealed she met Cole during a Zoom meditation group.
She said of their online meeting: “Very random, yes. Zoom, you’ve got to love it.”
Vanessa added of the baseball player: “He’s just kind of perfect for me. I am [happy]. I really am. I think that it’s also so important to stay grateful for everything that you have in life. I’ve been making that a priority, and I feel like it’s just been making magic happen all the more.”
