Fiza Khawar, an attorney and social media influencer, spoke with a heavy heart following the tragedy that occurred at Sadar Police Lines in Peshawar on January 30.

Her dear uncle, who she had lost way too soon in a previous horrific act of violence, was in her heart, and it broke her heart to think of him. When her uncle was killed in a mosque suicide bombing when she was just 12 years old, it was a tragedy that will always stay with her and her family.

The horrific Peshawar mosque bombing has devastated Pakistan as a whole. Fiza used Twitter to share her opinions on the tragic event.

No Pakistani leader, according to Fiza, has been able to stop such atrocities. Nobody can ease the pain and suffering that the victims’ families had to endure. These catastrophes seem to never end, and there is no explanation as to why they occur. All we can do, she continued, is pray that these violent acts end and that the victims’ families would find comfort during these trying times.
