The 3 was the ‘e,’ he said, before yelling, “But this is Bad Boys 4!” It is a done deal! “Well, we did four… but it is still Bad Boys For Life,” Martin added.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will return to helm the untitled sequel from a script by Chris Bremner, Sony Pictures reportedly confirmed to Variety.
In 2020, 25 years after the first Bad Boys movie was released, the directors also directed the sequel, Bad Boys for Life, which starred Smith and Lawrence once more as Miami-Dade detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. Thus, Jerry Bruckheimer, Smith for Westbrook, Doug Belgrad, and Chad Oman are in charge of producing the unnamed sequel, and Lawrence, James Lassiter, Mike Stenson, Barry Waldman, and Jon Mone are in charge of serving as executive producers.
