Future of monarchy at stake after King Charles III

  • Firm’s credibility has been severely damaged by Andrew and Harry’s revelations.
  • Charles III is being pushed to make a significant move to boost Firm’s reputation.
  • National approval of the new monarch (65%) is 21 percentage points lower.

King Charles III, who took the throne after Queen Elizabeth II passed away, faces a number of difficulties that cannot be understated during this trying time for the Firm.

Since the departure of the Queen, people have started to wonder about the future of the monarchy in England because to Prince Andrew’s scandals and Prince Harry’s revelations, which have severely undermined the Firm’s credibility.

People worry that the monarchy could be overthrown as a result of the Duke of York’s notorious association with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and Harry’s startling insight into the royal family in his memoir, Spare.

Ex Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson, in his latest article ,claimed: “People are saying that thanks to Prince Andrew and Harry’s book, the whole royal thing is broken, that you could take it down to Jay Blades’ Repair Shop barn but the experts would be forced to conclude that all of the king’s horseman and all of the king’s men couldn’t possibly put it back together again.

He continues: “I see their point. The monarchy is built on a foundation of mysticism. It derives its magic powers from forces we don’t understand.

“It’s an institution built on fairy dust. And that is lost somewhat when they’re all falling in dog bowls and, like Prince Andrew, giving money to girls they’ve never met.”

He finished by saying that the nation would “look at William and Kate and think: You know what, I’d rather have them” if a president was in fact chosen when Charles’ reign ends.

The 62-year-old has made it clear that he is not anti-monarchy and that he would prefer a monarchy to remain in place in Great Britain over an elected leader like Joe Biden of the United States or Emmanuel Macron of France.

King Charles III is pushed to make a significant move to boost his and the Firm’s popularity and reputation. National approval of the new monarch (65%) is 21 percentage points lower than that of the late Queen, who presided over Britain for 70 years.
