  • Rookie Naseem Shah took four wickets for just 12 runs in his four overs.

Naseem Shah, a rookie bowler from Pakistan, had a stellar debut in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), taking four wickets in Comilla Victorians’ match against Dhaka Dominators on Monday.

With his dangerous pace, Naseem, who made his BPL debut with the Victorians, wrecked havoc on the Dominators’ batting order.

The right-arm pacer hindered the home team’s pursuit by taking four wickets for just 12 runs in his four allotted overs.

After reaching 164/6, the Victorians were motivated by Naseem’s brilliance to restrict the Dominators to just 104/9, securing a commanding 60-run victory.

Despite Naseem’s brutal bowling performance, Khushdil Shah, another countryman, was chosen as the player of the match for his all-around effort.

Prior to capturing two wickets during the Dominators’ run chase, the all-rounder hit a quick 30 off just 17 deliveries.
