Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, said of Shah Rukh Khan, “I watch stars of my time,” but on Monday, his supporters pointed out that the actor is “four years older” than him. On Monday, the CM claimed to recognise “know film stars of my time” but not Shah Rukh.
Speaking of his interaction with the actor, the Assam CM revealed that on Saturday, the actor had sent him a text message that began, “I am Shah Rukh Khan.” I’d like to speak with you. On Sunday, Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, said that Shah Rukh had called him late at night to express concern over rumours of demonstrations against the release of his movie by a group in Guwahati. He claimed to have given Shah Rukh his word that the state administration would uphold law and order.
Shah Rukh‘s supporters are now reminding the Assam Chief Minister that the actor is older than him. Someone posted on Twitter, “I know film stars of my time?? Bro you are 4 years younger to Shah Rukh Khan.” “This dude is about 4 years younger than SRK and he talks about ‘film stars of my time’,”

The Assam Chief Minister claimed on Friday that he was unaware of Shah Rukh Khan and the film Pathaan. The Assam Chief Minister made it clear on Monday that he still has little knowledge about Shah Rukh and rarely watches movies.
He said”I have seen films of Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra and Jeetendra……I still don’t know much about Shah Rukh Khan. Since 2001, I have seen not more than six to seven films. There were many in the queue who wanted to talk to me. After clearing those, a message was sent to him (Shah Rukh) at 2 am on Sunday saying that I was available for a call. He then called me and said that his film was releasing soon and that he hoped there won’t be any problem. I asked him the name of his film and he said Pathaan. I told him ‘koi disturb nahi hoga’ (there will be no disturbances),”
