Following her son Benjamin’s suicide in 2020, Sarah Ferguson thinks Lisa Marie Presley committed herself out of a shattered heart.
In an exclusive statement made on Saturday at the Memphis, Tennessee, airport, where she had arrived from the UK in advance of Presley’s memorial service at Graceland Sunday, the royal said, “I think she’s with Ben now.”
The “Mad Max: Fury Road” actress Riley Keogh, 33, and Finley and Harper, twins who are 14 years old, were Lisa Marie’s offspring, the Duchess of York said, and she was there to comfort them.
Ferguson told, “I think we need to make sure Finley, Riley, and Harper are adequately supported moving forward.”
She was incredibly proud of them. Yeah, I’m really gushing at how great my children are right now, she used to write to me, stating.
“You were my sister, a wonderful mother to Ben, Riley, Harper, and Finley, and Priscilla’s incredibly loving daughter. I have been your dedicated friend for a very long time, and I am here to love and support your family. She wrote, “My sissy, you are in my heart. I am extremely saddened.
Elvis Presley’s lone child, Lisa Marie, passed away on January 12 at the age of 54 from a cardiac arrest. Priscilla, 77, issued a statement at the time that said,
“It is with a heavy heart that I must deliver the devastating news that my beloved daughter Lisa Marie has left us.” She was the most fervent, powerful, and loving woman I’ve ever met.
At Graceland, Lisa Marie will rest in the same grave as her son. It was revealed that his burial had been slightly shifted to make place for his mother’s casket.
