According to a recent Newsweek poll, Kate Middleton and Prince William are the most well-liked royal couple in the US, making Meghan Markle one of the least popular royals there.
The Redfield & Wilton survey of 2,000 US voters was conducted a week after the publication of Meghan Markle’s husband Prince Harry’s memoir Spare. According to reports, the Duchess of Sussex currently has a net approval rating of -13 in the US, while Camilla, her stepmother-in-law, has a rating of -8.
With a net approval rating of +26 and a popularity rating of +21 for her husband Prince William, Kate Middleton has emerged as the most well-liked royal in the US.
The net approval rating for Prince Harry is -7, and experts attributes this to his recent inflammatory remarks against the Royal family made during the promotion for his book.
This follows a survey taken just last month in December 2022 that showed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to be significantly more popular than Queen Camilla, who at the time had a net approval rating of -2. Prince Harry’s popularity was reported as being +38 and Meghan’s as being +23.
