The actor sued for defamation against his ex-wife Syeda Aliza Sultan, the filmmakers Musaddiq Malek and Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, as well as the actors Osman Khalid Butt, Mira Sethi, Minal Khan, Aiman Khan, Sarwat Gilani, Yasir Hussain, and Farhan Saeed. Additionally, the actor disclosed their home locations and phone numbers. However, he withheld Syeda Aliza, his ex-wife address.
