- Zaidi released a statement on the alleged rigging in local body election.
- Ali Zaidi said, “I had a discussion with Imran Khan.”
- PTI will retaliate if the results are not corrected and people not released.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh President and former Federal Minister Ali Zaidi said they have already rejected the results of the Local Government (LG) elections.
Speaking to media, the PTI leader warned of an adverse reaction and said the party will retaliate of the election results are not corrected and their workers are not released.
“I am in touch with Hafiz Naeem. He is also protesting against the rigging at the moment. Hopefully, they will soon deliver good news,” he said.
Talking about PTI’s next move, Ali Zaidi said, “I had a discussion with Imran Khan. If the results of the election are not corrected immediately and our workers are not released, we will retaliate strongly all over Sindh.”
He expressed gratitude on the acceptance of their resignations. He said Imran Khan will stand with 33 seats and giving a befitting reply.
Zaidi further stated, “We have already said that we reject this election and now the world has seen what has happened. A party that has never given the rights of Karachi, destroyed it, has won the elections.
Talking about Pakistan Peoples Party, he accused Zardari of destroying Karachi. He said, “we know that Zardari used money in the regime change which is leading the country to destruction. This is a message to political engineers that a nation never makes any decisions intoxicated by power.”
He further talked about Karachi and said, “If you punish Karachi, you will punish the whole of Pakistan. Karachi is the financial hub, this country is run by Karachi.”
