King Charles believes that his son Prince Harry has only “barely scratched the surface” in his explosive memoir Spare and is afraid of what he might say next, according to reports.

The explosive book by the Duke of Sussex, which was published on January 10 and garnered media attention for its explosive claims and revelations about senior royals like Prince William and King Charles. Soon after, Harry asserted that he had enough material for a second book in a promotional interview.

Tom Bower, a royal expert, commented on this, saying: “No one knows better than Charles that Harry has barely scratched the surface when it comes to his tumultuous marriage to Diana, his difficult relationship with his own parents and his adulterous relationship with Camilla.”

“The embattled King knows he has good reason to fear his son,” Bower continued, adding, “All too often… Harry was left in the care of his nanny at Highgrove while his father pursued his own interests or nestled in another home with Camilla.”

Bower concluded, “The chickens, Harry might say, have now come home to roost.”

The remarks follow Prince Harry’s claim in his book that King Charles told him and Prince William to settle their argument at Prince Philip’s funeral in 2021, pleading with them to “please boys, don’t make my final years a misery.”
