The Prince of Wales went alone to Aik Saath, a nonprofit organisation that was first founded to combat gang violence in Slough and west London.
After the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, this special visit that was scheduled for September 13 of last year was postponed. Prince William and his wife Kate would have been there at the original engagement.
The couple would have had the opportunity to interact with both the association’s mid-1990s founders and local teenage volunteers.
Additionally, Kate and William were supposed to participate in a cooking class that was a part of the charity’s Global Grub initiative.

While Kate wasn’t present today, Prince William seemed upbeat as he made his way to the Slough community centre, which is commemorating its 25th anniversary this year, at 29 Church Street.
Twitter users who were followers of the royal family expressed their joy at the “surprise” engagement.
