KARACHI: Former Sindh Governor Imran Ismail asks IG Sindh and Chief Minister Sindh to release all PTI’s arrested party members including Adeel Ahmed, MNA Faheem, Amjad Afridi and others immediately.
In a video message, he condemned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MPA Rabistan Khan’s arrest and torture on him. He questioned IG Sindh and Chief Minister Sindh, “is that the way to contest in elections?”

He further stated, “Chief Minister Sindh and IG Sindh are involved in crime and their people are involved in the violence.”
Imran Ismail said, “Rabistan Khan’s condition is critical. I want to remind you that this may happen to you too in the future.” Supporting his claims, Ismail also uploaded a series of photos and a video of Rabistan lying on the hospital bed on his twitter account.

Stating his anger, Ch Fawad Hussain tweeted about the same saying, “Congratulations to Sindh Chief Secretary, IG and Election Commission members on the success of People’s Party! This would not have been possible without your day and night efforts. There is no shame or modesty left.” Which Imran Ismail retweeted as well.

Earlier, Sindh President and former federal minister Syed Ali Haider Zaidi mentioned that PTI MPAs, Rabistan Khan and Adeel Ahmed were arrested by the police for trying to stop the rigging while Amjad Afridi was beaten up by the police and arrested for terrorism. Plus, Mr. Zaidi described the Sindh Government as thugs and the Sindh Police as facilitators in political victimization.
