A source for the actress, 37, confirms to PEOPLE that she is expecting her third child with husband Marcus Mumford.
Mulligan and her 35-year-old husband who is the frontman for Mumford & Sons are already parents to their children, Wilfred and Evelyn Grace.
The celebrity appeared at the AFI Awards on Friday night, where her movie She Said was recognised as one of the year’s best.
Mumford and Mulligan dated for five months before getting engaged in August 2011. In April 2012, they were married on a farm in Somerset, England, in front of over 200 guests, including celebrity friends Sienna Miller, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Colin Firth.
On September 15, 2015, the couple welcomed their daughter; their son arrived in August of the same year. Mulligan made light of the teachings she would teach her daughter, saying at the time of her birth, “no makeup, no piercings, no tattoos.”
