- A few hours after his child was born, the joyful father.
- Announced that the couple’s baby was born on Friday, January 13.
John Legend, 43, announced to the audience that they had just welcomed “the tiny baby this morning.” What a fortunate day, he exclaimed. Although he “did not get a lot of sleep,” the singer continued, he “feels rejuvenated” after spending “a lot of time” at the hospital. The great baby news was promptly shared on social media by attendees of the special celebration.
One concertgoer tweeted, “@johnlegend just told us he had a kid this morning.” The couple lost their baby in a devastating pregnancy loss in October 2020, which led to the birth of their child. Speaking with in March, the multi-hyphenate talked about his family’s preparation for their new addition.
“We’re all excited,” Legend said, “and, you know, my kids are old enough to really be aware of what’s happening, so they’re really anticipating having a new sibling in their lives. And I think they’ll be good at being a big sister and big brother.”

Teigen, 37, said in September that Luna and Miles were “extremely enthusiastic” about the newest member of their family and that they were informed of her pregnancy early on.
Since we used IVF, we were able to tell that it had been successful nine days after the embryo transfer, according to the woman.
“They were aware that I would be entering Mommy’s tummy for the transfer and that we would be putting the egg there. So they were aware of the possibility that it might not succeed from the very beginning.
She said, referring to her two elder children, “They have been excited for a long time.” “Given that they have known since, I have a feeling that this will be their longest pregnancy.
