Imran Khan to decide dissolution of KP assembly today

  • CM KP will hold an important meeting with Imran Khan.
  • KP leadership has given final authority to Chairman PTI.
  • Barrister Saif said that the KP will go to the Punjab pattern.

PESHAWAR: Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan will decide the fate of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly today.

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan and senior leadership will hold an important meeting with Imran Khan to consult on this matter, but the final decision authority has been given to Chairman PTI.

Speaking to Bol News in this regard, Barrister Saif said that the KP government will go according to the same pattern as the decision to dissolve the Punjab Assembly has been taken and KP will go towards the dissolution of the assembly as announced by former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry.

It should be noted that Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi signed the summary of the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly during the meeting with Chairman PTI Imran Khan and the advice of dissolution of the Punjab Assembly was sent to Governor Punjab.

Later PTI central leader Fawad Chaudhry said, “If the governor does not dissolve the assembly, the assembly itself will be dissolved in 48 hours, while we are going to write a letter to the opposition leader Hamza Shehbaz for the establishment of the caretaker government.”

The former federal minister said that PTI will also dissolve the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, the assembly will be dissolved the day after tomorrow and elections are going to be held in both provinces within 90 days.

On the other hand, Governor Punjab Baligh ur Rehman confirmed on Twitter that he has received the summary of Chief Minister Punjab for the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly.
