Shannon Beador found it difficult to contain her tears while speaking about her abrupt breakup with John Janssen.
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” actress choked up as she thought about her split announcement and added, “I don’t want to start weeping, but yesterday was an incredibly hard day for me and I couldn’t stop sobbing.”
She then turned to presenter Jeff Lewis and said, “So I want to thank you, one of my closest, dearest friends, for having me come out and forcing me to go out last night.”
Because I had a great time, And if I had stayed at home, I’m not sure how I would have handled the situation.
The 58-year-old Bravolebrity said Janssen ditched her in late November, barely one week after production wrapped on “RHOC” Season 17.
We were in a wonderful location, she said. “However, seven days later, when the cameras were off, the story was very different. He informed me that the relationship was over. It was utterly upsetting to hear what he said to me at that time.
As the cameras rolled during the final days of filming, Beador told Lewis, 52, that she was “blindsided” by Janssen, who gave her optimism that their relationship might endure — and possibly be taken to “the next level.”
“Of course, my relationship is usually a matter of conversation,” she remarked. So, to recap, let’s just put a button on where [we stood] in your relationship, we did film a meal at the end of the season.
Beador continued, “It was fantastic. I had a terrific time filming with John. God, we’re going to get there, I thought as I started to cry over what he was saying.
But after over four years of dating, Janssen broke things out with Beador just one week later.
“I simply believed that we would proceed with whatever the next step was. She remembered, her voice quivering with emotion, “I remember crying and I remember saying very sweet things to him. “I despise this.”
Lewis suggested that Beador and Janssen might get back together, but the Real for Real CEO rejected that notion.

She declared, “Jeff, it’s over. “I’ll admit that I last chatted with John in the beginning of December. I’ve never left without speaking to him for this long before. It is significant.
The mother of three, who has three children—Sophie, Stella, and Adeline—with her ex-husband David Beador, said she wanted to “stay busy” in order to block out any lingering heartache.
Shannon made it clear that she was “not going to go hang out at the bars” to find Mr. Right, though.
I won’t act like that person and go to a bar with a group of single girls thinking I’ll meet someone there, she declared. “Because I don’t want to meet somebody who frequents bars,” she replied.
