- Prince William and Kate Middleton made their first public appearance.
- A reporter asked the Prince of Wales if he was “hurt by the comments in Harry’s book”.
- William and Princess Kate waved to the crowd with a smile on their faces.
Prince William, who was out with his wife Kate Middleton in Liverpool on Thursday, avoided questions about Prince Harry’s allegations against him.
The Prince and Princess of Wales arrived at the Royal Liverpool University hospital on their first public appearance since the release of Harry’s Spare, but made no public comment on Harry’s memoir, in which the Duke claims that his elder brother physically attacked him in a 2019 confrontation.
A reporter approached the Prince of Wales in a local hospital and asked, “Are you hurt by the comments in Harry’s book, sir?”
As they paused for a brief conversation with others before entering the hospital, neither William nor Kate acknowledged the reporter’s question.
However, William and Princess Kate waved to the crowd with a smile on their faces.
