- The parties have been busy in consultation
- The decision will be taken after court’s verdict
LAHORE: Following the vote of confidence taken by the Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and PML-Q have been all set to dissolve Punjab Assembly (PA).
In this regard, the discussion between Imran Khan and Pervaiz Elahi has been going on and the sources in the know said that both parties are on the same page.
It was also said that the parties have been waiting for the court verdict in this regard and the assembly will be dissolved after the court’s decision.
Pertinently, Pervaiz Elahi took the vote of confidence yesterday and 186 members of the PA showed trust in him on the floor.
Meanwhile, the opposition boycotted the session and tore the agenda pages.
CM Pervaiz Elahi after the session said that PML-N got a real surprise and the opposition had no idea what is going to happen.
He said that the PML-N had been pushing for a vote of confidence for the past month and now PML-N has become a corner party of Raiwind.
Pervaiz Elahi said, “PML-N is not worthy of the legacy of Quaid-e-Azam, there is only one leader, that is Imran Khan, I thank all the ministers. It has been proved that the PML-N has a habit of buying and selling.”
