Kyle Richards endorsed Gwen Stefani’s outrageous assertion that she is “Japanese” despite being born to Italian American and Irish American parents.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star made a remark on an Instagram photo Wednesday about the No Doubt singer, saying, “Everyone can’t wait to be offended by something.”

When questioned about her 2004 Harajuku Lovers collection, which many have seen as an example of cultural appropriation, Stefani repeatedly asserted in an Allure interview that she is of Asian origin.

“My God, I’m Japanese and I didn’t realize it,” the 53-year-old “Don’t Speak” singer confessed to the Asian journalist.

She repeated, “I am, you know.”

Stefani stated in another section of the interview that she is “a little bit of an Orange County girl, a little bit of a Japanese girl, a little bit of an English girl,” in addition to identifying as part Asian.

Initially claiming that the writer had misunderstood, a singer’s representative then declined to provide an official explanation to the publication.

The fact that Richards, 54, spoke on the debate may not come as a surprise because Richards once had to learn a lesson about racial undertones from her co-star Garcelle Beauvais after Richards accused Beauvais, who is black, of failing to donate $5,000 to a charity.

What if one of the white women had asked you? In an episode from 2021, Beauvais, 56, questioned. “I feel like it was used against me because I’m a black woman,” she said.

I swear to God! I don’t have any problems with you, for example! Richards gave a reply.
Beauvais asserted that although it frequently goes unspoken, she thought the “Halloween” actress didn’t mean to imply anything racist.

The former “The Real” co-host said, “There are assumptions that people think we don’t pay our rent and that we don’t tip.
“I never would have thought of that!” Richards answered.

Richards apologized again, and everything was fine, as Beauvais went on to say that although Richards doesn’t have to deal with that, it is her reality.
