Heather Gay finally admits to thinking Jen Shah is guilty

  • In the end, Heather Gay of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
  • Did not believe Jen Shah, her “ride or die” BFF, was innocent in the telemarketing fraud case.
  • The Bad Mormon author and co-star Lisa Barlow had lunch together after Shah pleaded guilty.

Heather Gay texted Lisa, “I am filled with grief.” Grief at the fact that we are in this predicament, that there are victims, and that our friend is leaving her 16-year-old behind while she travels for ten years.

“That made me bawl my eyes out yesterday,” Lisa added as the two held back tears. “All I could think about was her in the van, saying, ‘I’m not going to see Reefie [Jen’s son, Sharrieff Jr.] get married.'”

The 49-year-old was taken into custody in March 2021 for her involvement in a deceptive telemarketing enterprise. She defended her innocence until she pleaded guilty in July 2022. She was given a 6.5-year prison term on January 6 in Texas, where she must turn herself in on February 17.

Heather said, “What she admitted culpability to is just terrible. Then given that she is gone so far, maintained her innocence for so long, and altered her narrative after realising she would not get away with it, I can only assume she committed the crime and believed she would get away with it.

“I never anticipated that it would be for her.

The two ladies eventually confronted one another and denied their respective rumors before Jen took off early hand-in-hand with Coach Shah.

The women will all confront one another (aside from Jen, who did not attend) when part one of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion airs next Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
