KARACHI: Metropolitan city is likely to experience light rain today and the weather is to remain cloudy throughout the day, as predicted by the meteorological department.

Reports pouring in from different areas of Karachi revealed that the city witnessed drizzling in the morning hours. Meanwhile, the westerly winds will continue.

The met department has said that a series of westerly winds over Balochistan at the moment, under the influence of which there is a possibility of drizzle in Karachi today.

The mercury is expected to fall further from tonight and the chilly wave will continue in the city till January 17. During this time, the minimum temperature of Karachi is likely to be 5 to 7 degrees Celsius.

Moreover, there is fog in the city, visibility is limited to 5 km. The minimum temperature today was 14 degrees Celsius.

However, there is no chance of heavy rain in the metropolitan city today.
