Prince Harry to fight for ‘scandalous memoir’ on live TV

  • Prince Harry’s “Spare” leaked in Spain before its release date.
  • Book contains details about royal quarrels, se*, and drugs.
  • ITV television in the UK  to broadcast “Harry: The Interview”.

Sunday’s television interviews with Prince Harry will centre on his autobiography after the book’s shocking disclosures about royal quarrels, se*, and drugs raised questions about the future of the British royal family member.

The book “Spare,” which was ghostwritten by the 38-year-old prince, was widely leaked after it accidentally went on sale in Spain before its scheduled release date on Tuesday.

An story of how he lost his virginity, an admission of drug usage, and a claim that he killed 25 people while fighting in Afghanistan are among the details. He also claims that his brother Prince William, the heir to the throne, struck him during an argument over his wife Meghan.

The book, according to British media on Sunday, greatly affected both William and the boys’ father, King Charles III, but the king wants to make amends. The palace hasn’t responded in a formal manner.

In a BBC interview, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak emphasised his “enormous regard for the royal family” while declining to comment on the incident.

The TV networks have previously shown clips in which Harry discusses his tense relationship with William and charges that William’s family has spread false information about him and Meghan in the media.

At 9:00 p.m. (2100 GMT) on Sunday, ITV television in the United Kingdom will be the first to broadcast “Harry: The Interview.”
