Liz later disclosed they had chosen a wedding date just one week before recording the tell-all adds to the tension this time.
It all started when Rosemarie “Rose” Vega, Ed’s ex-fiance, attended the tell-all digitally. Rosemarie “Rose” Vega originally appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. She arrived prepared to confirm that Ed had talked.
Rose therefore arrived with screenshots. Ed had requested to visit Rose in the Philippines, according to the photographs from the end of 2021 that Liz read. The most recent communication from Ed had, it turned out, been sent just two days before he had proposed to Liz.
The revelation startled and angered Ed’s fiancee. After Rose’s part ended in tears, Liz commented in a low voice that she wasn’t sure whether she still had “any respect” for Ed. At that point, he requested the return of her engagement ring.
Later in the episode, Ed made an effort to reconcile with Liz. Back at their hotel, they had a private discussion regarding the telling-all outburst, but Ed’s sobs didn’t last very long. He admitted to Liz that he had anticipated her to support him throughout the special’s filming and not turn on him.
“You just need to be aware of my whereabouts today. Ed responded, “I was drowning. Furthermore, I thought you were stepping on my head. You were the one person I wanted to have my back and stand by me in good times and bad, in my opinion.
Liz expressed her feelings about the event, but Ed wasn’t having it.
