Prince Harry talks about ‘deal’ made with King Charles

  • Prince Harry struck a royal agreement with his father, King Charles.
  • The agreement was in order to keep them “inside the gilded cage at all times”.
  • Harry claims that he and William “agreed to serve the monarch”.

In order to secure his financial future, Prince Harry struck a royal agreement with his father, King Charles, which he is now discussing publicly.

The Duke of Sussex Harry writes in his autobiography, “Spare,”  “Pa didn’t financially support Willy and me, and our families, out of any largesse. That was his job. That was the whole deal.”

In order to get financial support, Harry claims that he and William “agreed to serve the monarch” and remain “inside the gilded cage at all times.”

“Pa might have dreaded the rising cost of maintaining us, but what he really couldn’t stomach was someone new dominating the monarchy, grabbing the limelight, someone shiny and new coming in and overshadowing him,” he continues.

The Duke describes how the King’s previous marriage to Princess Diana put him in a similar, scary situation.

According to Harry, his father did not want Meghan Markle to experience a similar situation.
