A man has been charged with killing his elderly mother in the Cotswolds. On Monday, Michael Corry is scheduled to appear before the Gloucestershire Magistrates’ Court in Cheltenham on charges of Beatrice Corry’s murder.
In her 80s, Mrs. Corry passed away on Friday following an incident in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire.
Just after midnight on Friday, police were rushed to the town’s High Street, where they discovered Mrs. Corry suffering from head injuries.
“A man has been charged in connection with the death of an elderly woman in Chipping Campden on 6 January,” a Gloucestershire Police spokesman said.
“Michael Corry has today been charged with the murder of his mother Beatrice Corry.”
