LAHORE: The visiting and admitted patients of Services Hospital Lahore are facing grave inconvenience due to faulty heaters and shortage of life-saving drugs.

Sources said, the heaters of the gynecological wards in Lahore’s Services Hospital have been lying out of order for the past one and a half months, while the patients are facing difficulties due to the shortage of medicines.

Patients said that medicines are not available in the hospital and treatment is more expensive than in private hospitals.

When contacted, the Spokesperson of Services Hospital said the heater of the hospital is lying out of order after the theft incident. He said a formal request has been sent to authorities for new equipment and the problem will be fixed soon.

Earlier, National Institute of Health (NIH) Islamabad has registered 22 new cases of Covid-19 in the country in the last 24 hours while two patients lost their lives.

According to the statistics issued by NIH , a total 22 new cases of Corona have been reported across the country in the last 24 hours.

During the last 24 hours, 5,126 corona tests have been conducted, according to which the rate of positive cases of the corona was 0.43 percent.
