Tabish Hashmi, the biggest comedy host today, has also lived in Karachi and seen that portion no youngster should have seen.

Tabish was once in the heart of a shootout when militant branches of huge political parties fought openly on the streets. When he was a schoolboy, he observed a woman get shot during a quarrel. The memory is still fresh in his mind, and he recalled it on Junaid Akram’s podcast. He also said he’s seen violence live several times.

Karachiites could identify to the situation because practically everyone who grew up there before the 2014 operation has witnessed bloodshed. This is what Tabish shared.
