A man has been charged with the murder of a missing lady from south-east London.
Maureen Gitau, 24, was reported missing on December 10 after she was last seen leaving her home in Evelyn Street, Deptford, five days earlier.
Mark Moodie, 54, of Nightingale Place in Woolwich, was charged with her murder at Bromley Magistrates’ Court.
On Thursday, he is scheduled to appear in custody before the Old Bailey.
The allegation alleges that Mr Moodie murdered Ms Gitau on December 5 in the borough of Lewisham.
Ms Gitau’s body has yet to be discovered.
