The family of Jessie James Decker doesn’t care what other people think. The country singer opened up about handling controversy after claims that she altered photos of her three children, sons Forrest Bradley, 4, and Eric “Bubby” Thomas II, 7, and daughter Vivianne Rose, 8, whom she shares with retired NFL player husband Eric Decker, in an interview with Fox News Digital ahead of her fourth year as the Powerball co-host of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

“I don’t know that I ever think too deeply into it,” the mom of three shared. “It comes with the territory. But I feel like I know what a great mom I am, and I know my truth. So, it doesn’t bother me.”

In response to a question about how her family was handling the criticism, Decker said, “We filter out the noise and we’re proud of them.”

Days after posting pictures of her family’s trip last month, Decker addressed the controversy for the first time on Instagram. Decker shared a video of her kids while claiming she “didn’t plan on” responding to the allegations.

“When I posted the pix of our vacation and included the kids being silly flexing on the beach on our thanksgiving trip I had NO clue it would get the reaction it did,” she said. “But Being accused of photoshopping abs on my kids (I can’t help but laugh) or … the polar opposite over ‘overtraining’ our kids makes me realize how bizarre our world has gotten regarding the body and what’s normal and what’s not.”

She went on to say that the “huge quantity of hereditary and created muscle from athletics” in her children shouldn’t be viewed as “strange.”

Decker stated, “I want to raise my kids to feel proud of their bodies and hard work, whether it’s through Vivis’ outstanding competitive gymnastics, Eric Jr.’s desire to become an NFL receiver like his father, or young Forrest’s hours-long dancing for joy.”

The “I Still Love You” singer urged her fans to welcome all people, including youngsters, and not “choose and choose what we normalize regarding bodies.”

“If we wanna do ‘better’ then do better,” she added. Decker made it clear she is “proud” of her kids and wants to “encourage them to live their dreams.”

“So we’ll see y’all in the 2032 Olympics, and wearing Bubby’s jersey in the stands and dancing at Forrest’s rock performance,” the singer-songwriter said.

Eric, her husband, offered encouragement in the comments by writing, “U get mom bear.”
