Stacia Karcher said, “He only verbally agreed to everything on the show. Nothing was done.”
Karcher went on, “I waited a while. I hung on. I was tolerant. To give him more time to understand that I was committed to him, I lived with him. I still desire a friendship. I have no bad feelings for him. I’ve always loved him so much.”

Karcher shared that she has little hope for a reconciliation and that, at this point, her love for Barner is “not romantic love, it’s friendship love.”

“Yeah, we don’t go back,” she retorted.
On the show, the couple clicked right away, and they exchanged vows at the altar.
However, the season 15 Where Are They Now? special from last month hinted that the couple might be splitting up. The pair was depicted in the episode as rotating between residing at his or her apartment, and they were seen fighting on camera over specific plans for the future.
Karcher wanted to start building a solid house and life together where they could raise a kid, however Barnes seemed hesitant about relocating in together and starting a family right away.
Karcher admitted to her mother in the episode that she and her husband weren’t in a good place “I requested a separation from Nate. Well, I guess a divorce.”
When her mother enquired about something, she responded: “I’m not sure. I entered the event hoping to move more quickly and being fine with that. No one should have entered this process saying, “Oh sure, I want to get married to this stranger, but I want to proceed slow now,” in my opinion. “OK, then why did we get married then?” I ask.”
