Arslan Naseer takes a dig into Pathan song ‘Besharam Rang’

  • Arslan Naseer tweeted against Besharam Rang.
  • He also brought attention to how Hindu fanatics have been criticizing Deepika Padukone.
  • Social media users gave a mixed responses to him.

Arslan Naseer is a promising actor in Lollywood, who has been calling things as they are and speaking his opinion without any restraints.

The former YouTuber who is now an actor has been addressing serious topics in his own comedic way. When he heard the song Besharam Rang and pointed out that a word had been both misspelled and mispronounced, the 37-year-old rising singer was actually unhappy this time. The actor from Chupke Chupke tweeted against Hindi songs that distort the Urdu language.

With his trademark rib-tickling humor, Naseer also brought attention to how Hindu fanatics have been criticizing actress Deepika Padukone for wearing a saffron outfit in the song while remaining silent about the “death” of the Urdu language.

A well-known YouTuber tweeted, “Why isn’t anyone complaining against Deepika calling herself “Sharaafat”? I heard that some people were against her wearing an orange bunyaan chaddi in the song. Shareefi? I beg of you, Indian filmmakers, stop killing the Urdu language.”

Social media users had a mixed response to Naseer’s “genuine worry,” claiming that both countries speak a language that is largely the same but with a few terms that are different. They also claimed that words in everyday spoken Hindi and Urdu contain spelling or pronunciation errors.

Naseer has lately appeared in the films Chupke Chupke, Hona Thha Pyar, and Paristan.
