Bryan Christopher arrested in Killings of 4 University of Idaho Students

Bryan Christopher Kohberger, age 28, was arrested in Monroe County, northeastern Pennsylvania, in connection with the Nov. 13 stabbing deaths of roommates Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20, inside a home in the college town of Moscow, Idaho.

In a statement, the Pennsylvania State Police said, “Today, the Pennsylvania State Police helped the City of Moscow, Idaho Police Department, the Idaho State Police, and the FBI catch a suspect in the deaths of four University of Idaho students on November 13.” “Members of Troop N and the Special Emergency Response Team caught Bryan C. Kohberger, 28, at his home in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, early this morning on a fugitive from justice warrant.”

According to court records cited, Kohberger was arrested after Moscow police issued a warrant for his arrest. The warrant said that Kohberger was guilty of murder in the first degree. He was given a court date, but he was not given bail. He is still in jail until his extradition hearing on January 3.
